Norsk Tindesenter is an experience center located in the heart of Åndalsnes. This is where summit experts and mountaineers live. Those who work here are very interested in the development of mountain climbing through active learning. At the center you will also find one of Norway's highest climbing walls.
At the center you will find one of the country's most modern and highest climbing walls. The main wall is a challenging wall with an overhang and many different routes. The highest route at the climbing center is 21 metres. Routes have also been created that are suitable for children and beginners. For those who want to train more technically, there are several bouldering walls that can be used at the centre.
The Tindesenteret has its own film room where a 15-minute long film about steep outdoor life in Romsdalen is broadcast. The film room is probably the only one of its kind in Norway. Here, together with friends and family, you can find new inspiration for future trips.
Tindestua is a restaurant at Tindesenteret. A varied and exciting menu is served here, based on seasonal ingredients. You are most welcome with us, regardless of whether you wear hiking shoes, running shoes or pen shoes. Families, companies and larger private celebrations are also welcome to us at Åndalsnes.
