Romsdalseggen

Romsdalseggen is one of Norway's most beautiful summit hikes. The tour is easily accessible and has a spectacular view of the Romsdal mountains, the Rauma river and the sea.

Set foot in one of Norway's most popular mountain areas. On the trip up to Romsdalseggen, you go up from Vengedalen and into the gorge, before the climb up to the egg itself begins. Up on Romsdalseggen you have orchestra space, and look out over the Romsdalsfjellene - Romsdalshorn, Trollveggen and Vengetindene, which are the most famous.

A trip with airy parts

On the trip over Romsdalseggen you will also see the mountains Store Trolltind, Kongen and Dronninga. On a sunny day you can see all the way to Molde city and the Norwegian Sea in the distance. Between the majestic mountains, the river Rauma winds its way through the valley, and you can glimpse the train on the Rauma Railway.

Little brother to Besseggen

The trip over the Romsdalseggen is said to be the little brother of the Besseggen. The two tours have become very popular in recent years. The tour is also on the list of the Tourist Association, where their most popular tours are set up.

Fantastic nature experience

The landscape around Romsdalseggen offers everything from forests in the Vengedalen, the Vengetinden towering majestically in the background and other well-known mountain peaks with fantastic views!
